1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Gift Tours and Safaris, a Zambian-registered tour operator based in Livingstone, Zambia. By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
- Company refers to Gift Tours and Safaris
- Client / Guest refers to any person making a booking or participating in a tour
- Services refer to tours, safaris, transfers, accommodation, and related activities
3. Bookings & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking is confirmed once payment (deposit or full amount) is received and written confirmation is issued.
- Gift Tours and Safaris reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
4. Payments
- A deposit may be required to secure a booking.
- Full payment is required prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments may be made via bank transfer, card payment, or other approved methods.
5. Pricing & Currency
- All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change due to park fee increases, fuel costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or supplier adjustments.
- Any price changes will be communicated before confirmation.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation policies vary depending on the service and supplier.
- Cancellation charges may apply.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after deducting supplier penalties and administrative costs.
- No refunds are provided for no-shows or unused services.
7. Changes & Amendments
- Gift Tours and Safaris reserves the right to amend itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational requirements.
- Any changes will be made with the client’s best interests in mind.
8. Travel Documents & Visas
- Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and travel documents.
- Gift Tours and Safaris is not responsible for denied entry or travel disruptions due to documentation issues.
9. Travel Insurance
- Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Insurance should cover medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
- Gift Tours and Safaris is not liable for losses that would be covered by travel insurance.
10. Health & Safety
- Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation.
- Participation in safari activities involves inherent risks.
- Guests participate at their own risk and must follow guide instructions at all times.
11. Liability
- Gift Tours and Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers.
- We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties.
- Liability is limited to the value of the services booked.
12. Force Majeure
Gift Tours and Safaris shall not be held liable for events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Political unrest
- Pandemics
- Border closures
- Government restrictions
13. Third-Party Suppliers
Accommodation providers, transport companies, and activity operators operate under their own terms and conditions. Gift Tours and Safaris cannot be held responsible for their acts or omissions.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Gift Tours and Safaris, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
