BOOKING POLICY

  1. Reservations & Confirmation

All bookings must be made in writing via email, WhatsApp, or the website inquiry form.

A booking is considered provisionally held until payment is received.

A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment, and written confirmation is issued by Gift Tours and Safaris.

  1. Deposit Requirements

A minimum deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to confirm all bookings.

Certain activities, accommodations, or third-party services may require full prepayment at the time of booking.

  1. Full Payment

Full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to travel, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late bookings (within 30 days of travel) require full payment at the time of booking.

  1. Payment Methods

We accept:

Bank transfer

Mobile money (where applicable)

Cash payments (by prior arrangement)

All prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise.

  1. Availability & Substitutions

All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Gift Tours and Safaris reserves the right to substitute accommodations or activities with alternatives of similar standard if required due to operational reasons.

📕 CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  1. Cancellations by the Client

All cancellations must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp).

The following charges apply:

30 days or more before travel:
▪ Full refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable third-party costs

15–20 days before travel:
▪ 50% of the total booking cost is refundable

Less than 15 days before travel:
▪ No refund

No-shows or early departures:
▪ No refund

  1. Third-Party Supplier Policies

Some services (lodges, flights, park fees, special activities) are governed by third-party cancellation policies.

Any non-refundable supplier costs will be deducted from the refund.

  1. Cancellations or Changes by Gift Tours and Safaris

In the rare event that we must cancel or amend a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, safety, operational issues), clients will be offered:

An alternative tour of similar value or

A refund for services not provided

  1. Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Extreme weather

Government restrictions

Border closures

Acts of God

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

All guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and evacuations.

Wildlife sightings and natural events are not guaranteed.

Participation in activities is subject to fitness, safety conditions, and guide discretion.
